This gif breaks my heart everytime. It shows the ‘snap’, his breaking point, the moment he was pushed too far over the edge, and shows us that he didn’t ever plan or intend to be the bad guy, he’s not just plain evil. Loki has emotions just like everybody else, he has such depth emotionally, and you can really see the moment where his heart breaks, right in front of your eyes. It’s just too much for him, and he’s so tired of trying to be perfect. He’s a tired, lost soul.
